Witnesses say the first boats carrying migrants have left Greece on their way to Turkey as part of a deal struck with the European Union.
People were escorted onto vessels by officers from the EU border protection agency earlier.

The agreement – criticised by human rights groups – sees one refugee accepted into Europe for every failed asylum seeker Turkey accepts from Greece.
Mohammed Ali from Syria is currently in Turkey and says he'll still try to get to Germany.
