MidWest Simon believes the upcoming census will give a clearer picture of the extent of homesslessness in the county.
It comes as new figures from the Environment Department show that 13 people were homeless in Clare in February, while 36 chidren were in emergency accomodation in the region.

912 families throughout Ireland without a home in the last week of the month, 16 of those were in the MidWest, and all bar three of these were single parent families.
