Public water schemes supplying over 11,000 people in Clare are in need of Remedial Action.
The supplies of Ennistymon, Mountshannon, Feakle, Carron and Corofin have all been listed as being in need of attention by the EPA.

Following audits, the EPA has identified issues with treatment and management of water in these areas
Interim measures have been carried out to upgrade the systems, and most works are due to be completed by September.
Nationally, issues have been highlighted with 119 supplies.
