There's been above average growth in new car registerations in Co Clare so far this year.
New figures from SIMI show there were nearly 2,000 new car registrations here between January and March, a year-on-year rise of 29%.

That's slightly higher than the national average of 28%.
Eddie Rynne of Shiel's Car Sales in Ennis says there's been an noticeable increase in people coming through their doors recently and he expects continued growth for the rest of the year
