It's claimed that members of An Garda Síochána in Clare have become frustrated over a lack of resources.
The GRA's representative for the county insists that increased pressure has been placed on the Clare Garda Division over recent years after the 44 members who have left the force weren't replaced.

It comes as a motion calling for the restoration of pay to pre-2009 levels was passed unanimously at the GRA conference in Kerry this afternoon, ahead of debates on arming the gardai, and increasing the number of armed units.
