There's been a fall in the level of overcrowding at the region's main hospital today.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show 14 people are waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 9 of those in the Emergency Department.

It comes on a day where 366 people are waiting for beds in hosptials across the country – the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore is the worst affected where 27 people are waiting on trolleys.
