A disused plane which will form part of an alternative glamping village in Sligo is being tranferred onto a barge in Shannon this morning.
Funeral Director David McGowan, bought the plane from Shannon Airport in the hopes of coverting it into camping accomodation for holiday makers, close to the beach in Enniscrone.

The Boeing 767 was moved onto an articulated truck ealier this week and transported to Knockbeg Point where it is being loaded onto the barge ahead of its journey to Sligo, which is expected to get underway this evening.
