It's claimed disused phone boxes in Shannon have become a magnet for anti-social activity.
The issue is due to be discussed at the Shannon Municipal District Meeting this week, with councillors calling for the unused amenities to be removed from streets in the town.

There's five phone boxes in the town and none of them contain functioning phones.
Shannon Councillor Mike McKee says they serve no real purpose.
