The Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council is congratulating the county's hurlers following their Allianz Hurling League final win over Waterford.
The Banner trailed by two points in the closing stages at Semple Stadium yesterday, before a Darach Honan point and two scores from Tony Kelly gave them victory.

It's the first time Clare have claimed the League title since 1978 and Councillor Breen is confident we'll have similar success in the upcoming championship.
