The cost of renting a home in Clare has risen by 8.5% in the first three months of the year.
New figures from Daft.ie show the average price of renting a home in the county now stands at 607 euro, a 15% rise from its lowest point in 2013.

Supply on the market on May 1st 2016 was at its lowest point on record, with fewer than 3,100 properties available to rent nationwide.
Author of the report, economist Ronan Lyons says the figure for Clare is roughly in line with national trends.
