Nurses say the level of overcrowding at the region's main hospital is still high today.
Figures from the INMO show there's 28 people waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 16 of those in the emergency department.

But the figure has dropped significantly since yesterday when the number of people waiting on trolleys was the highest in the country.
