A boil water notice remains in place in the Carron Area.
It comes following the detection of a low level of cryptosporidium in the public water supply.

It means that businesses and residents in the area are advised to boil water for use and everyone affected has been contacted directly.
Irish Water and Clare County Council are continuing to liaise with the HSE in the hopes of lifting the notice as soon as possible.
