Clare County Council is warning of disruption to water supply in a number of areas in Clare today as essential improvement works continue.
As agents of Irish Water, crews will be carrying out works on the Gort Road between noon and 6pm and homes and businesses in the Barefield, Crusheen, Stonepark, Nufields, Ballyduff and all adjoining areas will also be affected.

Works will also be carried out in the Clarecastle and Doora areas from 9am to 6pm.
The areas affected include Clarecastle, Lissane, Claremount, Clarehill, Doora, Knocknama, Manus and sections of the Limerick Road.
It may result in loss of supply, poor pressure or discolouration during that time.
