The body of a man has been recovered from the water at a Clare harbour.
The man, understood to be in his 60's, is believed to have fallen into the water at Liscannor Harbour late last night.
Emergency services were alerted around 2 o'clock this morning after the body of a man was discovered by a local man between two boats in Liscannor Harbour.
Gardaí and members of the Doolin unit of the Irish Coast Guard responded to the scene.
The body was recovered from the water and taken to the nearby pier before being removed to University Hospital Limerick for a post mortem examination.
The man who's understood to be in his sixties in beileved to have fallen into the water.
Gardaí are investigating the discovery but it's believed to be a tragic accident.
