A body has been recovered from the sea off Doolin Point this morning.
The discovery was made at Doonacore Bay around 8 o'clock by members of Doolin Coast Guard.

Searches in the area have been ongoing since last Thursday for a missing 64 year old Dublin native.
The body has since been transferred to University Hospital Limerick for a post mortem examination.
Spokesperson for Doolin Coastguard, Mattie Shannon says the discovery will finally bring closure to the man's family.
