Talks between Tesco and the trade union Mandate will take place at the Workplace Relations Commission today.
The company is proposing changes to the contracts of long-serving workers that will see a reduction in their pay.

The changes will affect around 3 hundred long-serving staff who are on pre-1996 contracts, including a number at Tesco's supermarket in Ennis.
The company employs over 14,000 workers in Ireland across 149 stores.
