Donegal Town is a hive of activity as gardaí work to ensure that the visit of Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall passes off without incident.
Staff from Donegal County Council assisted in ensuring that all manholes in the town were checked and free from explosives.

The royal couple are spending the day in Co. Donegal – where they’ll take in Donegal Castle, Magee’s tweed factory and Letterkenny IT.
Prince Charles will meet with local entrepreneurs at Letterkenny IT this afternoon, while Camilla visits Ballyraine National School, taking in a performance of Chicken Licken.
The last stop on their six hour tour is to Glenveagh National Park and Gardens.
