A Lisdoonvarna-based campaigner wants to make Clare a leader in the transition to renewable energy.
Theresa O'Donohoe is proposing to set Clare up as a trial region for local community engagement with the National Energy Transition Plan, which sets out Ireland's strategy to convert to renewable energy over the coming years.

She recently pitched her idea at the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Bootcamp in Dublin, and the project has now been shortlisted as one of 50 in line for a prize of 20,000 euro in funding.
