The death has been announced of one of the world's greatest ever sportsmen, Muhammad Ali.
The 74-year-old former three-time Heavyweight Champion of the World passed away at a hospital in the US State of Arizona following an illness.

Ali gave Clare and Ennis one of its most memorable days in 2009, when he visited the county town to celebrate his ancestral links to the Turnpike Area.
Thousands lined the streets as he was declared the town's first ever freeman.
