Over 5,000 additional people have found employment in the MidWest in the past year.
Newly published CSO figures show just under 154,000 people are currently at work in Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary.

The increase since this time last year has seen the region's unemployment rate drop by three points to 7.9%.
This rate is better than the national average, but still lags behind much of the south and east of the country.
