Works which have led to temporary road closures in West Clare over the past number of months are set to finish this coming Saturday.
The works, which are affecting a stretch of road between The Hand Cross and Kinturk Junction, where due to be completed last Friday, however a request to extend them until this weekend has been granted by Clare County Council.

The road closures are to facilitate the laying of a power cable associated with the Slieve Callan windfarm, which is being developed by West Clare Renewable Energy.
