Housing Minister Simon Coveney will meet with the bin companies later over the new pay by weight scheme.
The Minister told the Dáil yesterday evening that he will suspend the changes if the companies don't agree to remove the increases in their standing charges.

Some firms are looking for a 200 per cent hike.
