Midwest Simon is calling for immediate government action to increase rent supplement.
It follows the recent Housing Committee, which contains more than 70 proposed measures to tackle Ireland's homelessness crisis.

These include the building of 50 thousand social houses over the next five years and for rent supplement to be increased to reflect current market rates.
