A protest against a possible visit by Donald Trump is going ahead in Ennis this evening.
Representatives from the Trump International Hotel and Golf Resort have told Clare FM there's "no update" as yet on the presidential candidate's mooted trip here.

The billionare businessman was expected to visit his resort tomorrow and while it has been reported that the Irish leg of his journey has been cancelled, the Trump Organisation hasn't yet ruled it out.
In spite of the uncertainty, this evening's protest will go ahead at the Height from 6pm and Clare AAA's Seónaidh Ní Shíomóin says they want to send out the message that Trump isn't welcome here.
