Nurses say there's been a dip in the level of overcrowding at the region's main hospital.
But figures from the INMO show University Hospital Limerick remains the busiest hospital in the country for the third day running, with 34 people waiting for beds, 19 of those in the emergency department.

The figure has dropped from 42 yesterday but remains much higher than the country's other hospitals.
At Beaumont Hospital in Dublin and the Midlands Regional in Portlaois, the number of people waiting for beds is 24.
