A Clarecastle Councillor has expressed disappointment that bus services will continue to be impacted until repair works at Latoon Bridge are completed.
A temporary weight restriction was imposed late last year due to concerns over the structural integrity of the bridge near Clarecastle, but following a survey, it will be changed from 3.5 tonnes to 18 tonnes next week.

Clare County Council says repair work on the bridge is expected to begin in late August in the hopes of completing the project by November.
Councillor Paul Murphy hopes measures can be put in place to allow normal service to resume.
