The newly elected Cathaoirleach of the Killaloe Muncipal district says flooding and flood defences remain major issues for people of the area.
Tony O'Brien was elected to the position at the district's AGM, replacing Councillor Michael Begley.

Councillor Pat Burke will serve as Leas Cathaoirleach.
Councillor O'Brien believes the Council is working hard to improve flood defences for the coming winter.
