The figures released by the Mid-West airport today, show that overall passenger numbers were up by 4% to more than 701,000 in the first half of the year.

The Airport expects further growth over the coming months and says its "looking forward to a positive winter season with new services to Fuerteventura and Malaga and a return on the winter schedule of Shannon to Edinburgh".
