People taking to the water at Clare lakes are being urged to only swim in designated swimming areas.
It follows an incident in Kilmurry yesterday where two young people were reported missing by their friends, 45 minutes after entering the local authority reservoir there.

Units from the Shannon Fire Brigade, Gardaí, Ambulance and the Shanon-based Irish coastguard helicopter were dispatched to the scene but the pair were found safe and well on the roadway, making their way back to their friends.
Sixmilebridge Councillor Alan O'Callaghan says it's an area that people shouldn't have been swimming in.
