Gardaí have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses to a fatal road crash in West Clare over the weekend.
A woman in her fifties lost her life after her car left the road and crashed into a field in Shanaway, near Miltown Malbay late on Friday night.

It's the second fatal road traffic accident in Clare this year, and brings to 13 the number of people killed on Irish roads in the space of a week.
Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Joe Downey has expressed his sympathies to the family of the west Clare woman and he's asking anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
