Clare's Junior Minister has played down concerns that growth at Dublin Airport could hurt Shannon.
Minister of State, Pat Breen is responding to comments from a number of political figures who have called on the region's public representatives to lobby against the building of a third runway at Dublin Airport.

The move is being considered as part of review of congestion at the country's largest airport and one of those opposed, Former Labour TD Michael McNamara says a second runway at Shannon should instead be used to relieve pressure.
But Minister of State Breen doesn't believe that changes in Dublin will hamper Shannon
