A new community park and sports facility will be officially opened this evening in Killaloe.
Clarisford Park is located on the banks of the River Shannon and consists of a sports hall and dressing rooms, playing fields, an all weather facility, training paddocks, a walking trail and a community park.

It'll be is being officially launched by Finance Minister, Michael Noonan this evening at 6pm.
Community activist in Killaloe Joss Lowry was instrumental in making the project come to fruition, and has thanked all those who made the facility possible, including an Irish rugby great.
