The Garda Water Unit has been dispatched to South East Clare following the discovery of what's believed to be a human bone.
Investigations are continuing in Doonass, Clonlara following the discovery of a suspected shin bone yesterday afternoon, which has been transferred to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick for further tests.
The scene has been sealed off for a forensic investigation and Garda divers are due to examine the nearby river this afternoon as part of the investigation.
