A bone found on land in South East Clare has been confirmed as human.
Gardaí in Ardnacrusha were alerted after the shin bone was discovered in Doonass, Clonlara yesterday afternoon. It was since transferred to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where tests were carried out. Gardaí have now confirmed that the bone is that of a human and investigators will now look at possible links to missing persons cases.
