A post mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow at University Hospital Limerick on a body recovered off the Clare coast at Kilkee.
The body of a man, was recovered from the water by Doolin Coast Guard at around 5.30 yesterday evening, after it was discovered earlier in the afternoon.

The remains were discovered during searches for missing Lissycasey man David McMahon, which had continued yesterday with the assistance of members of the public, as well as Coast Guard Units from Kilkee, Doolin and Ballybunion.
Searches for David McMahon have now been stood down.
