The Head of the Clare Garda devision says he hopes that sense will prevail in order to prevent industrial action by Garda members from going ahead.
It comes as Rank and file Gardaí have voted 95 percent in favour of potential industrial action over pay.

GRA members were balloted before a new deal was proposed at the weekend, which could see increments restored and 4-thousand Euro rent allowance for new recruits.
It's hoped the new agreement could avert any industrial action – the GRA's central executive will meet again tomorrow to discuss the matter.
Speaking in Kilkishen, Chief Superintendent John Kerin says he understands members concerns.
