Clare's Junior Minister says the government is always looking at ways to encourage Irish people to return to the country.
It comes as plans to give tax incentives to emigrants to bring them home are coming under fire from opposition parties.

The proposals would see a special tax rate of 30 per cent offered to people earning over 75,000 euro in certain jobs, although this has yet to be discussed by cabinet.
Minister of State for Employment and Small Business, Pat Breen says there are already measures in place to attract workers back to the country.
