New figures have put Co. Clare bottom of the list when it comes to overtime pay across 10 Garda divisions
The Department of Justice numbers show that 7.1 million euro was spent across these divisions up until the end of August, with just over 548 thousand going to Gardai in this county.

It puts Clare behind the total for the three Cork divisions, as well as Tipperary, Limerick, Galway, Waterford and the Laois/Offaly and Kilkenny/Carlow divisions.
Kilrush Councillor Ian Lynch, who's a members of Clare's Joint Policing Committee, is surprised by the figures.
