42 people are waiting for beds at the region's main hospital today.
Figures from the INMO show 28 people are waiting on trolleys in the Emergency Deparment at University Hospital Liemrick, while a further 14 are being accomodated in overflow areas of wards.

It comes on a day when over 370 people are waiting on a bed at hospitals across the country.
Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda is the second busiest facility where 30 people are waiting on admission.
