A former Mayor of Clare has claimed that poor mobile coverage in the county is endangering lives.
East Clare Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat Hayes made the comments as he called on the Minister for Communications and regulators to introduce a charter of rights for customers.

With many people having given up their landlines, Councillor Hayes says poor coverage has hurt businesses in Clare.
He also believes it's had more serious consequences too.
