A Clare man has struck gold in the Euromillions.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, has walked away with almost 200,000 euro after matching five numbers and a Lucky Star in the draw on Friday, October 7th.

The winning ticket was sold online through the National Lottery App.
After picking up his winnings, along with two of his friends yesterday afternoon, the man said he's going to enjoy the win over the next couple of days but his main plan is to pay off his mortgage.
