Travellers Rights Campaigner Says No Need To Change Law To Give Place In Society

A campaigner for Travellers' rights says there's no need to change the law to give them a place in society.

Yesterday Ireland's Human Rights and Equality Commissioner Emily Logan criticised successive Governments for failing to recognise trevellers as an ethnic minority.

The UN says it's deeply concerned about discrimination against in this country and has urged the State to tackle the issue.

But Traveller activist Michael Collins says it wouldn't even need any legal intervention.
