Talks are continuing to try and avert an all out Garda strike next week as middle ranking officers continue their industrial action.
Sergeants and Inspectors escalated their action today with a work-to-rule.
For 24 hours starting this morning the sergeants and inspectors are refusing to do admin duties or use the PULSE computer system.
More than 2000 are involved.
