The Bishop of Killaloe is issuing an appeal to people in the diocese to be extra careful on our roads
159 people have been killed on the country's roads so far this year, already more than the total of 127 in Ireland in 2015.

Bishop Fintan Monahan will take part in a special "Blessing of the Roads" ceremony at Ennis Cathedral this evening before 6.30 Mass.
He says every road death leaves many devastated lives behind.
