The Cathaoirleach of Killaloe Municipal District believes funding provided to the area this year should be used to make it a more attractive tourist destination.
Killaloe-area councillors have approved a draft budget 257,800 euro of the area, ahead of a full budget meeting of all of Clare's local representatives next month.
