Caroline Curtis is a mother of 4 from Ardnacrusha and has been nominated for Mum of the Year by her daughter Nicole.
From the hundreds of entries received from families all over Munster, the Woman’s Way & Lidl Mum of the Year Awards judging panel of well-known Irish personalities had the daunting task of whittling it down to just three. Fifteen mums have be chosen to attend the finals at a gala luncheon in The Intercontinental, Dublin on July 6th.
The primary reason Nicole nominated her mum was for the endless support and care her mother has given her since being born with congenital heart disease giving her just a two-year life expectancy. However Caroline remained strong for Nicole and fought for her treatments through research and fighting her case with surgeons – they shared their story with John Cooke.
