Morning Focus came live from Carrigaholt this morning

Marian Egan was joined by Superintendent of Kilrush Garda Division Gerry Wall and recently retired Carrigaholt Garda Charlie Killeen
Charlie arrived in Carrigaholt 23 years ago today – he shared some of his memories in serving the local area
They spoke about the closure of Carrigaholt Garda Station that is closing tomorrow
Superintendent Wall spoke about the coping mechanisms in place in his jurisdiction of West Clare to allay any potential concerns the public may have

Councillors Pat Keane from Kilkee, Gabriel Keating from Cross, Pat Gavin from the Post Office and Cafe and
Carrigaholt Parish Priest Fr Pat Culligan discussed issues pertaining to Carrigaholt and surrounding areas such as an autistic unit for West and North Clare, policing, tourisma and infrastructure
 
Luke Aston of carrigaholt Sea Angling and the Carrigaholt Development Association, Councillor Bill Chambers  of Cooraclare discussed the success of the opening of the Loophead Lighthouse

Mary Keane, Principal of Carrigaholt N.S. and Macdara Tobin of Coláiste Eoghain Uí Chomhraí – Carraig an Chabhaltaigh that celebrates its centenary in July this year
 
Kevin Heapes of Loop Head Tourism and ‘Pure Camping’ –  eco-campsite in Querrin, Trea Heapes
Seol Sionna project Querrin and Loop Head Tourism and Sue Magee of Carrigaholt Dolphin Watch discussed the promotion and development of eco tourism.
