Former Presidential Candidate Sean Gallagher spoke publicly for the first time yesterday about his treatment on the RTE Frontline Presidential debate last year
The defeated candidate – who was the subject of a bogus tweet read out during the programme in October – says its outrageous that it wasn’t verified

We returned to the topic of communion spending with Fr Brendan Quinlivan – Parish Priest of Feakle, Flagmount and Kilanena and Killaloe Diocese Communications Officer
He said this has long been a concern of the Church and added that making communion in uniforms may be more appropriate. 

Councillor Pat Burke in Mountshannon says there has been a fantastic atmosphere in the East Clare location over the past few weeks as people flock to the area to go Eagle – spotting
Pat was there three times there over the weekend and again this morning and says there are lots of tourists there from all over the country.
