I got to head up in the air from Mountshannon on the Harbour Flights sea plane this week.
It wasn’t just the temperatures soaring as I flew above Lough Derg with the pilot Seamus May.
It was a once in a lifetime experience taking off and landing on water and seeing all the sites as we flew from Mountshannon to Killaloe.
I even got to take control of the plane ….. although I was a little scared when I had to turn it for home!
This Wednesday Harbour Flights made history with the first sea plane flight taking off from Mountshannon.
