The Afternoon Show – Wednesday September 25th 2013

On today’s edition of The Afternoon Show Máire featured an interview with Brian McCormack, who lives in Kilkishen and Tajudeen Busari from Nigeria. In 2010 Brian and Tajudeen undertook a 5 week long trip to Tajudeen’s native Nigeria in a bid to locate the grave of Brian’s father.  Brian’s father – Bryan had been working in the country in the but shortly after his arrival there in the early 1950’s his family received word that he had died.  The family were not informed how or why he had passed away.  As a result of Brian and Tajudeen’s friendship, the pair made plans to travel to Nigeria to see if they could find some answers.
